Cara penggunaannya:
1. Buatlah Image dengan vcd yang akan Anda proteksi, misalnya dengan Nero
2. Jalankan Video-CD Protector
3. Klik Browse, kemudian pilih file image vcd yang telah dibuat tadi.
4. Klik Start tunggu hingga proses selesai.
5. Burning image vcd tadi.

6. Hasil burning tadi sudah terkunci sehingga sudah cukup aman dari pembajakan.

7. Tetapi karena proteksi ini masih dibuat oleh manusia maka masih bisa juga di bobol.., akan tetapi dengan cara seperti ini paling tidak sudah cukup untuk membuat pusing bagi Pembajak VCD kecil2an…

Description

This program is a simple protector for Video-CD (VCD) discs. VCDs protected by this program can not be played on Personal Computers (PC), Macintosh systems nor CD-i systems. The protected VCDs can only be played on common home VCD capable player unit. The protection also prevents computer users from copying the video files (eg. AVSEQ01.DAT or MUSIC01.DAT) into their harddrive for archiving or easy/quick playing or pirating. All these protections are done by just hiding the root/main directory.

Limitation

• There is no Undo feature. All VCD images processed are permanent and not undoable. Please backup the file before processing it.
• Although the video files can not be seen and be copied, one can still make a disc-copy along with the protection.
• Since this protection was tested with limited number of home VCD player units (mostly are Asian manufactured), there may be some players which can not recognize the protected disc.

Usage

Using this program is not difficult. Just enter the VCD image file you want to protect (please back it up first if you’re unsure), then click on the START button. If the button is not clickable, it means that the file name you entered is not found. Just click the Browse button to choose the file if you forget where it is. After the process is finished, you may use it to burn the disc. I designed this program to automatically search the contents of the disc image, regardless disc image format which it was generated with. So basically, disc images such as EasyCDCreator, Nero, WinOnCD and others will be recognized by this program.

On failure…

If you can not get any VCDs recognized by any players you could find, you should not waste your time by stressing yourself. Most protections are just violations from the standard. The more secure the protection is, the more un-standard it will be. Or… if you are desperate, you may contact me via email.
